Well, I watched the movie last Friday with friend BV. Last full show of the evening
at Glorietta. We both were eagerly anticipating the movie and after stuffing ourselves with some chicken pesto pizza that friend BV brought with her, we went inside for our movie. Oh yes, the plot was nothing new as it was really reminiscent of the Harrison Ford and Anna Heche movie a while back although they just had different twists but basically it was quite the same. In this movie though, friend BV and I eagerly cheered on Richard and how gorgeous he looked on screen. I can’t help it. He really does look good and he and KC make such a good pair. I have nothing but KUDOS for their loveteam. They work and look good together. This time around, the movie was less corny and the scenes were better than the their first movie. Richard’s acting seemed to have improved and KC’s too although KC for me still felt like she was overdoing on the drama part. I don’t know but like friend BV and I talked about it, there is something iffy with the way KC cries. This movie is better than the first one that they made and even though the setting was not as grand, the movie I think is better than the first one. Their loveteam is something that I like but the movie again still felt like a let-down but at least friend BV and I were not snickering in our seats this time around. We were just oohhhiinng and aaahhhinnng over Richard!
Well, the movie was not a total waste…they do have onscreen and offsreen chemistry, methinks!

Way back then I eagerly anticipated the showing of “For the First Time” and well honestly it left a lot to be desired. If you wanted a feel good movie I guess it was ok but I sadly thought that it lacked some much needed maturity on both actors and of course the script too. So, come Valentine’s day, they again have their offering movie titled, “When I Met U”. The plot makes me think of that Harrison Ford and Anne Heche movie where they were stranded in an island for quite some time with Harrison being the commercial pilot and Anne, the busy ad executive. I don’t really know the story line of this new KC & Richard movie but I’m hoping that it will be better than the last time. I did not like their first movie together aside from the location that is but I like their team up and I’m willing to give “When I Met U” a fragment of my time to see if this time, the movie is worth watching. I hope that this movie showcases both actors talent and not only limits the viewing public to romantic scenes which I can’t deny is something really nice since they really have a kind of chemistry together.

Yeah, it has been 2weeks since Twilight first made its movie debut here in the Philippines but I would still like to give my

edward & bella moment
review about it. Me and friend BV agreed to watch it at glorietta. We had to buy tickets the day prior because all tickets were already gone by the time that we tried to watch it the first Friday after it made its appearance on Philippine screens. I couldn’t wait for the movie after having been entertained thoroughly by the book.
We got there with just a few minutes to spare and as a result I ended up on the first row from the screen and I got cross-eyed sometimes as a result. But hey, it was not bad for a movie adaptation of the book. The important and significant parts were delivered in style as well as incorporation from the book regarding certain events. Pretty much, a good movie for me. It was like reading about “Lord of the Rings” and then seeing it on the movie screen. Bella in the movies was a good match with the one in the book as well as Edward, played by Robert Pattinson. He is such a good looking vampire and he was able to relay so much emotion with his eyes. One of the great scenes in the movie was where the whole Cullen family played baseball during the thunderstorm. It was fun to watch. Overall, the flow of the film was at a good pace. Never boring and the movie is a good one even if there were changed versions in the book. This film is a teeny bopper romantic vampire flick and I would have preferred a more mature setting truth be told but hey, it made me giddy! hehehehhe! And I have to give it to them, they topped the opening of “Quantum of Solace”. My rating is a B+.

After how many days since its opening, I finally had the chance to watch this movie with my friend Van. We went to Glorietta to catch the 8pm show. Bought food to accompany our excited selves to the movie house and we were looking forward to watching KC and Richard on the big screen. Cinema was quite empty probably because of the fact that it was the middle of the working week and probably because it has already been a week after the movie first opened. We sat down and proceeded to get comfy to watch and be “kilig” over the couple. What happened was something else. At the start of the movie, me and my friend were quite captivated and oohhhing and aaahhhing over the beautiful location of Santorini in Greece. The place is really a haven and now I have a longing to explore the quaintness of Santorini. That was one of the good parts of the show. Expectedly so, the first KC movie is not quite that great. It does not for me (take note “for me”) live up to its hype. Understandably so, KC’s first debut is not quite that good. In fact, I would call it funny. There was a time that I was so stumped with her acting and also with Richard’s. Me and Van were like laughing over her drama and some people in our backs were snickering too. But there were also times that we wanted to cry. I think it was the father and daughter reconciliation scene towards the end of the movie. But this I have to say though. Undeniably KC and Richard do have chemistry and I think they are the cutest couple to hit Philippine showbiz right now. Their cutesy scenes were “kilig” scenes for me and Van. Hopefully, their next film will be a better one. On a scale of 1-5 with 5 as the highest, I’d rate this movie a 2.5.
