Here is my featured artist for the week, also one of my very good friends way back in college up til l now. Ana, and by the way I call her Ate Ana. Hahahahha! (it’s a long standing joke between me and her). She is one of those people I can call artists, in the sense that she reinvents herself in other mediums aside from her paintings. She also does body art and she is also a big supporter of local artists( painters, bands and etc.).

Name: Sigwada Knicolai Mendoza but she is more known as Ana Mendoza ( Ate Ana, did I get your name right?)

Like me and friend Paul we all studied in the University of the Philippines Cebu College and of course became friends there.
The object of her paintings has always been angels. Angels of all kinds. Her artist statement is “I Dream of Imperfection, for when dreams come out stained but not stale for me it is art.” I was not able to ask her my 3 question factbit like Paul but if you visit her website you will get everything from there.
